Enforce Private Investigations Assists Female Assault Victim

The shock of the recent senseless assault on an Umhlanga resident, 24-year old Megan by an alleged male suspect, twice her size, outside an Umhlanga nightclub resulted in the expert services of Enforce Private Investigations being called upon by her distraught parents.
 
Nico Potgieter, Head of Investigations at Enforce Services, said, “While we deal with many types of criminal investigative cases on a daily basis, the details of a young girl being brutally assaulted by an alleged male while leaving a nightclub was shocking for us to hear. We immediately began the investigation by opening and compiling the criminal docket, viewing the CCTV footage at the nightclub and recording statements from key people who had witnessed the assault.”
 
Within three short working days Enforce Investigations had followed up on leads and compiled all the relevant statements including the crucial identification of the alleged suspect. This was then handed over the Durban North Police for processing and led to the immediate and successful arrest of the male suspect on a charge of assault and a court date of 14 October in Verulam.
